The Villa is just a 5 minute drive from the medieval village of Valbonne with its cobble streets, cafes, restaurants and weekly markets. After a morning coffee in the square, head to the beautiful beaches of Antibes and Juan-les Pins where you can lounge on deck chairs in the sun and enjoy water sports and evening cocktails. The larger towns of Antibes, Cannes, Nice, and Grasse are 15-30 minutes away and Monaco, St Tropez and the Italian border can be reached within an hour.
Sporting activities such as golf and tennis as well as numerous tourist attractions including water parks and art galleries are within 20 minutes drive. Head inland to the mountains for a wonderful day of hiking, canyoning, paragliding and exploring hilltop villages.
The old village has retained much of its 16th-century character, though now mixed with an active town atmosphere. The village square, the Place des Arcades, is surrounded by picturesque arcades, café terraces and little shops. Every Friday morning the village transforms into a bustling market where you can buy everything from delicious French bread to fashionable clothes and glorious bed spreads.
Parc Départemental de la Brague
The Villa is located on the Parc Départemental de la Brague, a beautiful 630 acre park that features many runs and walks and a pictoresque path along the river Brague stretching from Valbonne to Biot. Entrance to the park is 150m from the domaine and a walk into the village along the river takes 30 minutes
Cannes, Antibes and Juan-les Pins
Cannes, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins are world famous for their beautiful beaches, shopping and nightlife. Head into town to walk around, explore the coast and enjoy an aperitif. Join us in May to experience the world-renowned Cannes Film Festival. Spend the week in luxury with glamorous Hollywood stars.
Gourdon and the mountains
La Bastide de Veryiere is conveniently located just 30min away from the beautiful French mountains. Head up into the hills for a half- day hike during which you will enjoy some of the best views of the coast and end with a delicious lunch in the picturesque town of Gourdon.
Monaco & Italy
Monaco and Italy are less an hour away. Visit Monaco’s famous Casino square and Grand Prix circuit or head into Italy for a day of fine food and excellent wine. The towns of Dolceacqua, San Remo and Ventimiglia all have something special to offer.
